Recruiting Services

Since 2001, Skillshow has been assisting athletes, coaches and recruiters on how to best use technology and video to their advantage.  

Their focus is to provide ethical, quality and affordable solutions for families and players to gain better exposure to recruiters.  At the same time, our services bring time and cost effective tools to collegiate and professional scouts.   

Skillshow is currently contracted for exclusive video content in amateur baseball through the “Perfect Game” Showcase series.  These events are held year around to provide college coaches and scouts with access to elite or high-level amateurs.

The typical age of a Skillshow customer is between 15-18 for Recruiting Video services and 9-25 for 'Athletic Career Tracking' System (ACT) subscriptions. Skillshow customers range in skill level from Division III & Junior College prospects to Division 1 and Pro prospects. They service all players that wish to play at the next level of competition. 

Skillshow has filmed at numerous events nationwide, including coverage of more than 5000 players at Perfect Game USA showcases and tournaments. Obtained video footage on over 400 players selected in the MLB Drafts since 2001 including over 15 first round selections. 

Baseball America, the games premiere insider publication, utilized Skillshow videos for their 2002 & 2003 MLB Draft online coverage!

Think of all the effort you make to assist your children in their athletic endeavors - you drive them to events, wash uniforms and make their meals. You deal with coaches and administrative issues. It leaves very little time to think about assisting your children in their efforts to move on to the next level of competition, and yet it is the ultimate reward you and they strive for. Key Dates

The recruiting process is slightly different for each sport. However, there are some basic timelines to keep in mind as you begin thinking about moving on to the next level.

At the beginning of his/her junior year, he should apply for approval to play NCAA Division I sports from the NCAA Clearinghouse. This will ensure you have the time to and resources necessary to ensure athletic eligibility when you enter college. (Information provided by Skillshow)
